- Alarms that are set here will "go off" at the times you specify IF, AND
- ONLY IF, TickleX is being run on your computer at those times. It is recom-
- mended that you use DesqView if you intend to use both TickleX and another
- program at the same time.
-
- Enter the times and events for the alarms you wish to set. Times may
- be entered without colons, `AM' or `PM' (eg: 1:30PM may be entered as "130" or
- "130P"). When the time for each alarm is reached, the computer's speaker will
- sound a continuous "beep, beep..." until you press some key. No matter what you
- are doing within the program, the alarm will sound at the appointed time. Af-
- ter you press a key, the time and event will appear on the screen. After read-
- ing the message, press <─┘, and you will return to what you were doing when the
- alarm sounded.
-
- Up to twenty alarms can be set automatically by the program at the
- beginning of each day. These alarms will correspond to the new day's entries
- that were scheduled days or weeks ago. Any appointment, deadline, or expecta-
- tion scheduled for this new day at a specific time will be picked up for an
- alarm if that entry's "Event" item begins with `@xxxx' (where xxxx indicates
- the time (remember, no colons) that you wish the alarm to sound).
